Abstract : Of the insecticides tested demeton-methyl, dimethoate, monocrotophos, parathion-methyl, endosulfan and diazinon, each at 0.03%, applied 3 times at 15- to 20-day intervals, starting in late Mar., gave good control of A. cistellata adults on mangoes in India. The embryos and nymphs were effectively controlled with demeton-methyl, dimethoate or phosphamidon, each at 0.05-0.125%, or with monocrotophos at 0.075 and 0.125%, all applied twice at 15- to 20-day intervals starting in late Aug.
