Abstract : Mango fruits were sprayed fortnightly from the pea-sized stage until harvest with 20, 40 or 60 p.p.m. NAA, 2,4-D or 2,4,5-T. All treatments except the highest rate of 2,4,5-T improved the percentage of fruit retention and all improved fruit size and quality in terms of TSS, sugar, ascorbic acid and reduced total acidity. The most effective overall treatment was 20 p.p.m. 2,4-D.
