Abstract : The efficiency of 6 insecticides: diesel oil emulsion (at 2 and 3%), ethylparathion [parathion] (at 0.05%), dichlorvos (at 0.05%), quinalphos (at 0.05%), endosulfan (at 0.15%) and endrin (at 0.04%), was assessed in field trials against the diaspidid Aspidiotus sp. on mangos in Jammu and Kashmir, India, in 1980-1982. Diesel oil emulsion gave the most effective control of the pest, followed by endosulfan.
