Abstract : The average percentages of leaves of 3 varieties of mango damaged by Procontarinia matteiana at 17 places in Gujarat, India, in 1984 and 1985 were 47.70 for Alphonso, 27.21 for Kesar and 25.80 for Rajapuri. The varietal susceptibility of 24 varieties cultivated at a fruit research station is reported. The cecidomyiid was found to be parasitized by Chrysonotomyia pulcherrima, Synopeas mangiferae and Inostemma oculare.
