Abstract : This agent of mango bacterial canker remained viable and virulent for up to 60 months when stored in sterile water in screw cap tubes at room temp. and up to 48 months on nutrient agar sealed with mineral oil and kept in a refrigerator. The bacteria survived 24 months in sterilized soil and 4 months in unsterilized soil.
