Abstract : Larvae of Hemerocampa leucostigma [Orgyia leucostigma], collected from the leaves of Cassia fistula, mango and Terminalia arjuna in India, were found to be infected with Fusarium solani. This is the first report of this fungus attacking H. leucostigma. F. solani was isolated and its pathogenicity confirmed experimentally.
