Abstract : In trials on fruit drop of mango, the application of fertilizers increased the overall yield of mature trees during the long dry period of 1986. The use of a flower inducer increased the number of mature fruits harvested from 40 to 136 and increased fruit weight. Irrigation further increased yields to 60 and 136 fruits harvested. The flower inducer decreased the number of fruit dropped from 696 to 238 and irrigation decreased this further to 590 and 197.
