Abstract : The production and productivity of fruit and vegetables is very low in India. A brief account is given of their fertilizer requirements. Available data on recommended rates in different zones are presented. Some data on mango, banana, citrus, apple, pineapple, papaya, potato, tomato, cauliflower, etc. are given.
