Abstract : To reduce post-harvest losses, currently estimated to range between 25 and 80%, a survey was carried out on the methods of harvesting, transporting and packaging, and on decay losses. Data are tabulated for the following crops: mangoes, peaches, guavas, mandarins and lemons.
