Abstract : Applications of Bavistin [carbendazim] at 0.1% are recommended for the control of this disease, caused by Peziotrichum corticolum, particularly in areas with high rainfall during the north-east monsoon. Of the 5 hybrids grown at the Res. Sta., 3 remained free from infection while the other 2 were slightly affected.
