Clonal propagation of mango (Mangifera indica) through tissue culture.

Abstract : The research was undertaken to develop a suitable growth medium for mango, Mangifera indica L. an important fruit tree of Pakistan. BA 5×10-6M and IAA 10-6M favour callus formation: root initiation is favoured by BA 5×10-6M and IAA 0.5×10-6M; while BA 5×10-6M, IAA 10-7M, and NAA 10-7M favour bud initiation.
