Abstract : Treatment with GA3 at 100 or 200 mg/litre significantly delayed ripening of fruits of the cv. Mallika stored between 35 ± 2° and 29 ± 1°C. GA3 treatment retarded the total loss in weight, chlorophyll and ascorbic acid content, and reduced amylase and peroxidase activity during ripening.
