Abstract : A review and discussion under the following headings (and sub-headings): mango improvement (new varieties and hybrids, hybrids, and selection of superior clones); production technology (propagation, rootstocks, high density planting, pruning, nutrition, irrigation, and intercropping); physiological studies (physiology of flowering, mango malformation, fruit drop, spongy tissue, control of tree vigour, and clustering in mango); disease and pest management; and harvesting and storage.
