Abstract : Good control of these diseases, caused by Aspergillus niger, Diplodia natalensis [Botryodiplodia theobromae] and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] was given by various treatments including benomyl, carbendazim, thiabendazole, brine solution and frutox as well as hot water (50°C for 5 min). Fruits treated with mustard oil retained their colour for up to 14 d.
