Perennation of powdery mildew of mango as leaf infections.

Abstract : No cleistocarps of Microsphaera alphitoides f.sp. mangiferae were found on heavily mildewed parts of mango trees in the Indian Punjab during 1984-87 and it seems likely that perennating mycelium in the leaves produce conidia ready to infect the susceptible flowers and flora stalks when these are produced.
