Abstract : C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] produced cellulase on a filter paper substrate but failed to degrade carboxymethyl cellulose. The correlation between the age of the culture and cellulolytic activity with filter paper linearly decreased with growth and cultivation time.
