Abstract : The biology of the mango pest Deporaus marginatus is described from laboratory observations. Its susceptibility to BHC [HCH], carbaryl and quinalphos was determined, and it was found that only 0.2 and 10% HCH were effective against the pest, causing 83.33 and 86.66% adult mortality, resp., 48 h after treatment.
