Abstract : Research during 1984-86 by a cooperative disease control project involving Kasetsart University, Thailand, MARDI, Malaysia and QDPI, Australia, is reviewed. The main pathogens have been identified as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] and Dothiorella dominicana. Botryodiplodia theobromae and Aspergillus niger are less common. Disease control methods are discussed.
