Abstract : Twelve insecticides were tested in sprays against Idioscopus on mangoes in India; 0.05% monocrotophos, phosphamidon, demeton-methyl, fenthion and phenthiocarb [of unstated composition], 0.06% dimethoate and 0.10% carbaryl applied during the flowering period were effective, and the best yield increases were obtained with dimethoate, demeton-methyl and monocrotophos, in that order.
