Abstract : Sprays applied in October were evaluated for control of Mycetaspis personata (Comst.) on mango in field tests in Egypt in 1967. Pacol (a mixture of 45 g parathion and 630 g white oil) at 0.75% and combinations of 2% Volck oil emulsion with either 0.2% ethion or 0.2% dimethoate gave the best results. Because of the large populations present at harvest, it was thought that October was not the best time for single spray applications.
