Abstract : Isolates of B. theobromae from mangoes were more virulent than those from other sources. Of 6 mango cultivars tested, Okrong was the most susceptible to infection. Fruits with longer pedicels developed disease symptoms more slowly than those with shorter pedicels. Fruit was dipped in benomyl at 500 p.p.m. at 52°C for 5 min to control the disease.
