IAA- and GA3-like substances in 'Carabao' mango stems.

Abstract : Cv. Carabao scions were cleft-grafted onto seedlings of 6 mango cultivars (Arromanis, Carabao, Kurashigue, Pico, Sandersha Green and Valencia Pride). Concentrations of auxins and gibberellins in scion and rootstock stems were determined 5 months after grafting. No significant rootstock effects were observed. However, scion stems had twice the gibberellin content of rootstock stems.
