Abstract : A survey of the productivity of 46 orchards was carried out in 3 areas viz. Dapoli, Khed and Mandangad. The studies showed that orchard age, the number of bearing trees and the bearing score (based on a scale from 1- low bearing to 6-high bearing) are the important factors contributing to the yield of this cultivar. The economics of the use of manures and chemical fertilizers, plant protection measures and labour requirements are briefly discussed.
