On the control of Erosomyia indica Grover a new pest of mango in Kerala.

Abstract : Erosomyia indica Grover & Prasad [RAE/A 54, p. 477] causes serious damage to mango in India, and the results are given of a field trial of the effectiveness of of various insecticides in controlling the Cecidomyiid. Parathion, dimethoate, phosphamidon and endosulfan much reduced infestations on mango shoots.
