Anastrepha fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae) in Costa Rica: four new records.

Abstract : Four species of the genus Anastrepha, A. balloui, A. canalis, A. panamensis and A. irretita, not previously recorded in Costa Rica, are reported. The tephritids were collected from mango orchards between May 1985 and July 1986. A. balloui did not appear to be associated with mangoes.
