Abstract : Fifteen new species from Africa in the genera Neotegonotus, Tegonotus and Tegolophus are described and illustrated, including T. seringae sp. nov., which is associated with Aceria sp. on Burkea africana witches' brooms. Six known species are defined, including Oxycenus maxwelli, a pest of olive leaves and flowers, Tegonotus mangiferae, a mango leaf rust mite, Tegolophus hassani, a mite producing rust symptoms on olive leaves, and T. niloticus, which produces browning and curling of Ficus sycomorus leaves.
