Studies on the pest control of mango.

Abstract : Seven combinations of an insecticide with a fungicide were tested in sprays in Taiwan in 1970 for the combined control of Chlumetia transversa Wlk., Dacus dorsalis Hend. (Chaetodacus ferrugineus dorsalis) and fungal infections on mango. With mixtures in which the insecticides were 0.05% formothion (Anthio) (applied at intervals of 7 days), 0.047% fenitrothion (Sumithion) (at 10 days) and 0.05% fenthion (Lebaycid), 0.10% malathion or 0.05% dimethoate (Perfekthion) (at intervals of 15 days), over 80% control of the insects was obtained.
