Numerical taxonomic studies of mango (Mangifera indica L.) varieties in Nigeria.

Abstract : A total of 31 varieties collected from all the ecological zones of Nigeria were evaluated for 64 characters; data was subjected to single linkage cluster analysis and principal component analysis. The varieties were grouped into 2 or 4 clusters, mainly on the basis of reproductive characters (flowers and fruits).
