Abstract : Grafted plants in the experimental orchard at Hessaraghatta developed symptoms of epinasty and progressive foliar chlorosis often accompanied by transient wilting, followd by necrosis and defoliation. The branches withered, resulting in death of the plant. Isolates of Fusarium solani from roots of affected plants reproduced the symptoms on inoculation. This is the first report of this fungus causing wilt in mango.
