Abstract : Post-inoculation treatments giving the highest decay reduction index were hot water + Bavistin [carbendazim] at 1000 p.p.m., followed by carbendazim, Captaf, hot water and prochloraz. When treatments were applied 1 d before inoculation with C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] the most effective was hot water + carbendazim, followed by prochloraz and Captaf.
