Abstract : Leaf samples were collected from bearing and non-bearing shoots of mango cv. Langra at monthly intervals from Apr.-Nov. Soil samples were collected in Apr. from beneath the experimental trees at depths of 0-15, 16-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 91-120 cm. The leaf and soil samples were analysed for N, P and K contents. A significant correlation was found between leaf N in both bearing and non-bearing shoots and soil N at 0-30 and 0-60 cm, with the highest correlation being found between soil at 0-30 cm and leaves sampled in July and Aug. There was no significant correlation between soil P and foliar P. A significant correlation was found between foliar K in both bearing and non-bearing shoots and soil K at 0-30, 0-60 and 0-90 cm, from Apr. to Nov.
