Abstract : A trial of Dashehari mango on 11 polyembryonic and 13 monoembryonic rootstocks was laid out in a randomized block design with 4 replicates in 1977. Plant height, rootstock and scion girth, and tree spread were recorded in 1984. Although Villaicolumban (polyembryonic) gave the tallest trees (3.77 m) and ST-9 seedling (monoembryonic) gave the shortest trees (2.28 m) with greatest scion girth and tree spread, differences were not statistically significant.
