Abstract : Mango was propagated by veneer and softwood grafting on to 1-year-old rootstocks at fortnightly intervals between 27 June and 27 Aug. 1984, and by stone grafting onto 4- to 6-day-old seedlings from 27 July to 27 Aug. Temperature and humidity were the main limiting factors for successful graft take, but the success rate was generally high (veneer 84-97%, softwood and stone grafting >95%).
