Effect of rootstocks on mineral composition of mango leaves.

Abstract : Dashehari scions grafted onto 10 polyembryonic and 14 monoembryonic rootstocks were planted in a randomized block design with 4 replicates, in 1977. Leaf samples from the middle of non-fruiting terminals were taken for analysis of 10 mineral elements, in Dec. 1979 and 1980. Highest levels were obtained with Rumani (N), ST-9 (P and K), Nekkare (Ca, Mg and Mn), Bappakai (S), Ambalavi (Fe) and Dashehari rootstock (Zn and Cu). Means and ranges are tabulated.
