Rapid multiplication of mango by epicotyl grafting.

Abstract : Alphonso and Totapuri scions were defoliated 15 days before wedge grafting on to 4-, 6-, 8-, 10- and 14-day-old Alphonso seedling rootstocks. After growing in a mist chamber for 120 days, Totapuri showed 61-95%, and Alphonso 13-67% survival, the best results occurring with the older seedling stocks. All the successful grafts survived in the field.
