Abstract : A field experiment was carried out at Jabalpur, India, during 1986. N (as urea) at 0, 2 or 4%, K (as KNO3) at 0, 1.5 or 3% and NAA at 0 or 400 p.p.m., alone or in combination, were applied as foliar sprays at flowering time (20 Feb.) to 10-year-old mango trees. Effects on fruiting behaviour of the different treatments are tabulated. Urea, KNO3 and NAA sprays significantly increased fruit set, percentage fruit retention and fruit yield, and significantly reduced the percentage fruit drop, the effects increasing with application rate in each case.
