Abstract : The relative susceptibility to flower malformation was assessed over 2 years in 8-year-old trees of 12 cultivars. The observations were carried out in 2 'on' years (1987 and 1989). The mean number of malformed panicles was lowest in cv. Langra (9.37%) followed by Totapuri (16.53%) and Alphonso (17.25%), and highest in Amrapali (57.12%), Bombad Green (56.25%) and Mallika (55.0%).
