Abstract : In the laboratory, the development period from egg to adult of Anastrepha ludens on peach was 33 days, on grapefruit 36 days, on mango 36 days, on persimmon 40 days, on avocado 52 days, on orange 52 days, on Citrus hassaku 53 days and on mandarin 57 days. A container for experiments on egg-laying of A. ludens is suggested.
