Abstract : In connection with quarantine action in the Caribbean, notes are provided on the world (and Caribbean) distribution, economic importance, recognition, biology and control (including that in harvested fruits) of the mango pest Sternochetus mangiferae. Notes are included on related species, and on other curculionids that attack mango.
