Abstract : Mangoes grow extremely well in the Majunga region and the costs of plantation establishment and maintenance are recoverable after 6 years, i.e. two harvests. The cvs Zill and Ruby are particularly promising for export purposes. Data are tabulated on the yield characteristics of some of the 39 cvs under observation.
