Abstract : In Jun. 1988 a new foliage disease of mango was detected in a newly planted orchard in Patna, Bihar, India. Symptoms of the disease are described. The causal organism was isolated and identified as a species of Stagonospora. This is the first report of mango foliage infection by a S. sp.
