Abstract : Recommended storage temperatures and O2 and CO2 levels are tabulated for apricots, avocados, bananas, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, cranberries, figs, grapes, grapefruits, kiwifruits, lemons, limes, mangoes, nectarines, olives, oranges, pawpaws, freestone and clingstone peaches, persimmons, pineapples, plums, raspberries and strawberries. The benefits of controlled atmosphere (CA) storage, disorders developing during CA storage, and current commercial use or potential use are briefly described for each commodity.
