Abstract : Five fungicides were tested in a 15-year-old plantation of seedling trees, with 13 applications at 8-day (first 3) and 12-day intervals (remainder) beginning a month before floral initiation. Kocide 101 and Difolatan, each at 500 g in 100 l water, gave the highest percentages of healthy fruit, but yields were very variable.ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT:Of 5 fungicides tested in the field against C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] kocide 101 and difolatan, each at 500 g/100 l water, gave the best results; a spreader was added. Spraying was begun a month before flowering, the 1st 3 sprays being given at 8-day and the last 10 at 12-day intervals.
