Abstract : Bacterial black spot of mango (Pseudomonas sp.) occurs readily in the field in humid conditions; the critical period for infection coincides with the onset of summer rains in November. In field experiments reasonable control was obtained with Agrimycin 100 (1 lb/100 gal water) but the treatment had an adverse effect on fruit set.
