Relative susceptibility of mango cultivars to mango psyllid, Apsylla cistellata Buckton (Psyllidae: Homoptera) and its control.

Abstract : Out of 25 varieties of mango tested for resistance to Apsylla cistellata in field trials in Bihar, India, cv. Prabha Shankar and cv. Husneara were the most resistant, recording 0% damage by the psyllid. Trees sprayed with quinalphos at 0.06% recorded the lowest number of psyllids per gall.
