Abstract : In studies carried out in mango orchards in Gujarat, India, populations of mango hopper [Amritodus atkinsoni] were abundant throughout the year, but were greater in old compared to new orchards. Application of carbaryl (0.02%) during November helped to delay the development of nymphs during the flowering period.
