Abstract : Field experiments conducted in mango orchards [in Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India], showed that fenvalerate (0.005%), cypermethrin (0.005%) and decamethrin [deltamethrin] (0.002%) gave good control of the mango pests Amritodus atkinsoni and Rhynchaenus mangiferae. Fenvalerate and cypermethrin were ineffective against Erosomyia indica [E. mangiferae].
