Abstract : Larvae of Citripestis eutraphera were recorded infesting fruits on mango trees in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This is stated to be the first record of the pest on mango in South Andaman. The larvae entered the fruits at the sinus region and fed on the pulp and contents of the nut. Infested fruits dropped prematurely.
