Abstract : Macrophoma mangiferae caused blight of seedlings and young grafted plants, while Botryodiplodia theobromae was the agent of die-back and bark canker. Grey blight of leaves was due to Pestalotiopsis mangiferae and a leaf crinkle of unknown aetiology was also observed, resembling a similar disease reported from Lucknow.
