Abstract : The present status of fruit production in Thailand is outlined. The production, area planted and the main cultivars of the more important species - durians, grapes, Lansium domesticum, Litchi chinensis, longans, mangoes, mangosteens, rambutans, pummelos, sapodillas, Annona squamosa and mandarins - are discussed in more detail.
